Presentation Details
Since Daniel Goleman’s 1995 book on Emotional Intelligence, we have become aware that Emotional Intelligence (or EQ) matters more than IQ for job performance. Current research on performance along with compensation for people with higher Emotional Intelligence skills is providing growing interest to improve these four skills. Explanation of these skills for performing business analysis will be presented, along with approaches to enhance them for the Business Analyst.

Business Analysts routinely develop stakeholder profiles, but these focus on decision-making and authority. To manage conflict and develop cohesive and collaborative clients, you need to know your clients in more depth and you need to know how to turn a gaggle of people into a cohesive team. This session will give you tools to begin turning your difficult clients into allies and make eliciting requirements more effective.
